CybeREUNION

Say that again?

CybeREUNION events are generally centered around a live "chat" event. "Chat" being internet parlance for multiparty typed communication. Why typed? Because unlike audio or video (or, for that matter--LIVE), it is possible in a typed conversation to hear and be heard by a great number of people simultaneously, even though several people may be talking at once.

Also available during extended CybeREUNION events is a bulletin board, allowing you to post messages to friends about when you'll be live online, or who you'd like to talk to, or links to your home or business web page.

So, there are two opportunities provided for you to connect with lots of friends and associates: the live chat event--usually 12 to 36 hours long; and the bulletin board--which is usually available a week or two before the event, and left up for several weeks afterward. Check your event updates for more information. Take advantage of both.

What is required for a CybeReunion?

All that's required is an internet connection--either direct dial-up, or through an online service such as America Online or CompuServe--and a browser. Either Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer will do nicely.

But even though that's all that is required, you may want to practice first. "Practice?" you say? YES, practice; because not all systems are created equal. Your particular computer system may require some fine-tuning in order to work optimally during the event! And during the event is not the time to find that out. Check our FAQ's page for practice opportunities!
